In March, DML working group members travelled to Frankfurt to attend the FAIRagro Community Summit. The event brought together the FAIRagro community to showcase the services and tools the consortium has been developing to advance Open and FAIR data practices in agricultural research.

FAIRagro is an NFDI consortium that has represented the agrosystems research community in Germany since 2023. With more than 30 partners, it is building a FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) research data management infrastructure — developing the tools and workflows needed to support Open Science and sustainable crop production.

The summit was a great opportunity to exchange ideas, hear about ongoing developments, and connect with others working on research data challenges in agriculture. We look forward to future collaboration with the FAIRagro consortium!
